    2. Inform your insurer within a maximum of three days via both telephone call and a written notice, providing initial details regarding the type and scope of the loss or damage along with its preliminary assessment.

    3. Maintain the components that have been impacted and ensure they are accessible for examination by an insurance company-appointed surveyor.

  • In case of hull claims, kindly follow the steps below which are for general guidance

    1. Take immediate steps to reduce hull damage and protect undamaged components.

    2. Notify your insurer promptly within three days via both telephone and written notice, sharing initial damage details and assessments.

    3. Maintain damaged parts for inspection and collaborate fully with the insurer’s surveyor during the assessment.

    • Deck and Engine room Log Books

    • Master Engineer’s detailed Report

    • Underwriter’s surveyor’s Report

    • Classification Society surveyor’s Report

    • Owner’s superintendent’s Report

    • Receipted Accounts for Repairs

    • Accounts Covering any Drydocking

    • Accounts for all Incidental Expenses paid at the port of repair

    • Details of Fuel and Engine room stores consumed during repair

    • Details of Dates of Payment

    • Log of Communications made in connection with the casualty
